Why Winter Is Wedding Season in Raiganj and How to Book

Why the dates bunch up

Bengali weddings follow auspicious dates from the almanac, and those dates cluster between November and February, with a second smaller window around April. That means the photographers, decorators and caterers in Uttar Dinajpur are all booked on exactly the same thirty evenings.
