Wedding Photography in Hemtabad: Coverage, Travel and Timing

Wedding Photography in Hemtabad: Coverage, Travel and Timing

Hemtabad is a large block with weddings scattered across villages that can be forty minutes apart. Covering two homes on the same night needs planning, not luck.

How we plan a Hemtabad day

We map both homes in advance, agree a split of the crew, and keep one photographer with the bride at all times. The other follows the bor jatri so that the arrival is covered from both sides of the gate.

  • Route check the week before, including the last village stretch
  • Charged batteries and spare cards for a full eight-hour shoot
  • A second crew member for bhoj and guest coverage
  • An agreed meeting point in case mobile signal drops

The light problem in village weddings

Village pandals are lit with mixed colour temperatures — warm bulbs, green generator light and the odd blue LED. We set a manual white balance and use our own flash to keep skin tones consistent, then grade the rest in post so the album looks like one night rather than three.

A wedding in Hemtabad cannot be reshot. The generator will not wait, and neither will the priest.

What to budget for travel

Hemtabad is inside our standard service area, so travel is included on full-day packages. If you need coverage at two separate villages on the same night, mention it during booking so we assign the right crew size.

We cover Hemtabad, Bhupalpur, Dalkhola-side villages and the surrounding gram panchayats.
